Acoustics - Measurement at the operators position of noise emitted by earth-moving machinery - Dynamic test conditions

inactive
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 February 1993
Status: inactive
Page Count: 14
ICS Code (Earth-moving machinery): 53.100
ICS Code (Noise emitted by machines and equipment): 17.140.20
scope:

This Standard describes a method for determining at the operator's position the noise emitted by earth-moving machinery, in terms of the equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level, while the machine is operating under dynamic test conditions. This Standard is applicable to the following specific crawler and wheeled types of earth-moving machinery: - excavators (hydraulic or rope-operated) - tractos with dozer equipment - loaders, and - backhoe loaders (also known as excavatorloaders)
