NEN - NVN 7322

Leaching characteristics of solid earthy and stony building and waste materials - Analysis of inorganic components - Determination of the content of 14 elements by atomic emission spectrometry (inductively coupled plasma)

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 March 1997
Status: inactive
Page Count: 8
ICS Code (Solid wastes): 13.030.10
ICS Code (Construction materials in general): 91.100.01
scope:

This prestandard describes the method of inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES method) for the determination of arsenic, barium, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, molybdenum, nickel, lead, antimony, selenium, tin, vanadium and zinc. This standard is part of NEN 7320 as well as NEN 7340 and is applicable to filtered destillates and eluates of solid earthy and stony building and waste materials. For a specification of the materials and elements (method is tested and partly validated) is referred to NEN 7320, Annex B. The determination of the elements mentioned above in solid materials take place after destruction with a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid, according to an adjusted form of NEN 6465, described in NEN 7320, Annex 5.2.1. The determination of the content of elements mentioned above, in the eluates takes place in combination with the execution of leaching tests according to NEN 7340.
