Relates to the dimensions of these components for use in electronic equipment. Covers requirements for flange drilled before or after mounting on waveguides. Specifies the mechanical requirements necessary to ensure compatibility and interchangeability as well as to ensure adequate electrical performance. Takes into account, when necessary, IEC Publication 68, Basic Environmental Testing Procedures, and shall be used in conjunction with IEC 153 Hollow Metallic Waveguide, and ISO R 286.
