scope:

Contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of fixed head inspection machines capable of performing plug-, height-, outside finish-dimension testing and other testing. This standard deals with all significant hazards caused by fixed head inspection machines when they are used under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards. This standard applies to fixed head inspection machines which are manufactured after the date of approval by CEN of this standard.
