Contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of: machinery for setting of unfired heavy clay and refractory products onto kiln cars from the feeding with unfired products - whether from pallets or conveyors - to the point where a set kiln car is discharged from the setting area, and machinery for dehacking of fired heavy clay and refractory products from the feeding of a set kiln car of fired products to the discharge of the unloaded kiln car from the dehacking area where the configuration used during firing is changed, so that the product (now in a different configuration) is deposited to be fed to the next stage of the process e.g. inspection, sorting and packing.
