Provides general requirements and overall recommendations for development of complete subsea production systems from the design phase to decommissioning. This part of the standard forms a top level document to govern other sub-system standards typically forming a part of a subsea production system. Applies to subsea production systems which range in complexity from a single satellite well with a flowline linked to a fixed platform to several wells on a template producing to a floating facility.
