Purpose of This Notice.
This notice provides specific aircraft alterations that Flight Standards (AFS) inspectors, if authorized to perform field approval of major repairs and major alterations, are also authorized to review and sign the associated flight manual supplement or supplemental flight manual and establishes interim policy and guidance pertinent to these responsibilities.
