This standard describes a method to prove the presence of vegetable fat in butter fat and butter oil by means of thin layer chromatographic analysis of the steryl acetates. The standard applies to the examination of affy components obtained from butter according to NEN 3703 and of butter fat sampled according to NEN 3704.
