scope:
This International Standard constitutes a code for acceptance testing of pumps, defining the terms and quantities that are used, establishing the methods of testing and the ways of measuring the quantities involved according to class B so as to ascertain the performances of the pump and to compare them with the manufacturer's guarantee. In general this code applies to any sizes of pumps teted with clean cold water and other liquids behaving as clean cold water such as defined in clause 8.
