This method describes the determination of di- aromates, tri- aromates, tetra-aromates and higher PAH's in liquid fuels and potential fuels by means of a UV-VIS analysis. The method may be used for a wide range of distilled and residual products from automotive diesel fuel to heavy fuel oil (type RML).
