This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the tensile breaking force and breaking elongation of frayed strips of woven textile glass fabric, conditioned in a standard test atmosphere, by means of constant-rate-of- loading machines, machines with constant rate-of-traverse of the driven clamp and machines with constant-rate-of-extension of the specimen. It is emphasized that in most cases the results for a given fabric obtained on one type of machine will differ from those which would be obtained on the other type.
