scope:

This standard gives the requirements and test methods for pipes, made of unplasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC) with outer diameters of 40 up to 500 mm intended for pipelines for the transport of water under free fall. The standard applies to unplasticized PVC pipes with outer diameters of 40 up to 90 mm intended for inside sewerages for draining normal domestic waste water and substances contained therein; with outer diameters of 110 up to 160 mm, intended for inside as well as outside sewers;with outer diameters of 200 up to 500 mm, intended for outside sewers. The standard is meant to be used to the external inspection of the internal quality control of the manufacturer, as part of the awarding of a quality mark.
