Radio-relay systems - Part 3: Simulated systems - Section Two: Measurements in the baseband

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 June 1983
Status: active
Page Count: 14
ICS Code (Radio relay and fixed satellite communications systems): 33.060.30
scope:

This section deals with baseband measurements on simulated radio-relay systems and is concerned with those measurements which are not directly related to the particular type of signal actually being transmitted, e.g. frequency division multiplex (f.d.m.) telephony or television. The baseband measurements to be described are carried out typically at the modulator input and demodulator outpot ports, where these are accessible, and exclude auxiliary terminal equipment, such as pre-emphasis and de-emphasis networks, which are associated with a particular type of baseband signal.
