scope:
The rapid development of high-quality sound-system equipment for use in vehicles has led to the requirement for international standardization of the minimum performance requirements for this equipment. Pending the completion of this work, this supplement is issued for guidance on the application of those parts of IEC Publication 581 which have already been published or are to be published in the near future, to sound system equipment for use in vehicles.
