scope:
The standard describes two methods for the determination of furfural in liquid petroleum products, such as kerosine and gas oils. Method A applies to samples having a furfural concentration in the range of 0,05 mg/l to 1,0 mg/l. Method B applies to samples having a furfural concentration in the range of 1,0 mg/l to 15 mg/l.
