This European Standard describes a conventional method for the determination of accelerated formaldehyde release under specific conditions from powdered aminoplast resins in their partly polymerised state. The results cannot be related to emissions from wood-based panels that have been bonded with these materials, when determined by either EN 120, or EN 717 Parts 1, 2 or 3.
