scope:
Concerns objective methods for rating the transmission quality of speech with respect to intelligibility. The three methods, which are closely related to as the "STI", the "STITEL" and the "RASTI" methods. The methods are intended for rating transmission with or without sound systems. A survey of other methods of determining speech intelgibility is also included, together with a method of correlating the results of different methods of determination.
