This code of practice lays down for wooden entrance doors a combination of properties of the constituent materials and components, rules for the manufacture and of properties of the finished products, such that, based en practical experience, it can be expected that similar doors are suitable for permanent use as entrance doors. The appendix contains conditions with respect to transport, storage and processing under which good results are to be expected when using these doors. This code of practice applies to entrance doors mainly made of wood, which are exposed to the outdoor climate with one side and which are intended for houses and buildings with on indoor climate common to Central Europe with an air temperature of at most 25 ° C and a relative humidity of 40-70%.
