Specifies the performance and safety requirements for outdoor portable electromagnetic locators for the location of buried conductive pipes, cables and wires (including allied components) by means of detecting the electromagnetic field caused by a flow of a.c. current. Is only applicable to locators, any accessible part of which is at less than hazardous live, as difined in EN 61010-1.
