In this case, the overall system performance is defined as the performance of the system including the terminal equipment, the station RF/IF equipment, the antenna, and the satellite transponder. Therefore, the measurement of actual overall system performance should be performed only on site, since it is practically impossible to carry out in the factory, even if the antenna and the satellite transponder can be simulated.
