This standard describes a method for the quantitative determination of the contents of eighteen organochloropesticides (OCP s), seven chlorobenzenes and seven polychlorinated bifenyls (PCB s) in soil samples. It applies to any kind of soil. The demonstrability limit of the method for individual compounds is 0.01 mg/kg based on dry matter.
