This standard describes a instrumental method for practice determination of pH with a vitreous electrode in a suspension of, soil, sediments, sludge and construction material in demilitarized water (pH-H20) or in a potassium-solution (pH-KCI) or in a calciumchloride-solution (pH-CaCL2. The standard is applicable to all kinds of soil samples pretreated according to NEN 5751.
