scope:
Lays down a method for determining the effectiveness of water-borne and oil-solvent type wood preservatives applied by methods other than brushing in preventing blue stain fungi in wood in service. This method is applicable to preservatives applied by immersion process, soaking, double vacuum or vacuum pressure techniques. It is also applicable where a primer paint is used in conjunction with the preservative system.
