This standard specifies the dimensional characteristics of the 8°30' interface for adaptors, threaded, with lockring, assembly with elastomer O-ring for aerospace applications. This standard applies to all adaptors, threaded, with lockring, assembled with EN 2607 to EN 2608 and used in fluid systems with a nominal pressure up to 28 000 kPa for which the principle of a metric-size "dynamic beam seal" coupling with a 8°30' conical sealing surface has been selected.
