This Standard specifies the minimum performance standards and methods of testing of shipborne receivers for the Omega system and the differential Omega system, associated with IEC 945. The Omega system is a hyperbolic radionavigation system with worlwide coverage comprising eight base stations, with c.w. transmission on 10,20 kHz, 11,05 kHz, 11,33 kHz and 13,06 kHz according to predetermined sequences.
