Water, air and soil - Sample preparation of sludge, water containing sludge, air dust and soil for the determination of elements by atomic absorption spectrometry - Destruction with nitric acid and hydrocloric acid

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 November 1992
Status: inactive
Page Count: 4
ICS Code (Air quality in general): 13.040.01
ICS Code (Examination of water in general): 13.060.45
ICS Code (Wastes in general): 13.030.01
ICS Code (Chemical characteristics of soils): 13.080.10
scope:

This standard describes the method for the determination with nitric acid and hydrochloric acid of sludge, water containing sludge, air dust and soil, when the elements to be determined are dissolved in such a way to allow a determination of the contents by atomic absorption spectrometry. The standard also gives the formula with which to calculate the contents. The standard applies to any kind of sludge, water containing sludge, air dust and soil.
