scope:
This code of practice gives directions and constructive solutions to reduce sound pollution in dwellings made by reverberation, noise from slamming doors and sources like that, which can be used to meet -if correctly and properly applied- the requirements of chapter 7 of NEN 1070. Attention has also been paid to suppressing the noise from walkways and the like caused by walking. The code of practice applies to domestice facilities that have to meet the requirements for the total sound absorption in private common stairways, hallways, corridors, galleries and the like, as well as to the reduction of sound pollution by slamming doors and similar causes.
