This directive is applicable to all personnel, officer and enlisted, assigned to NAVAIR, and Program Executive Offices for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO(T)), Air ASW, Assault & Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)), Strike Weapons & Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)) and Joint Strike Fighter (PEO(JSF)). Selected Reserve Personnel/Active Duty for Special Work nominees cannot fill active duty IA requests and are exempt from this directive.
Purpose.
To establish procedural guidance to support assignment of individuals assigned to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to meet combatant command Individual Augmentation (IA) requirements in accordance with policy outlined in reference (a).
