Multichannel amplitude analyzers - Test methods

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 November 1981
Status: inactive
ICS Code (Radiation measurements): 17.240
scope:

This standard is applicable to multichannel amplitude analyzers with linear conversion characteristics designed for determination of pulse amplitude distribution. This standard establishes acceptable test methods for each of the following parameters: minimum and maximum measurable signal amplitudes; intrinsic errors of the minimum and maximum measurable signal amplitudes;stability erros of the minimum and maximum measurable signal amplitudes; additional errors ( or variations) of the minimum and maximum measurable signal amplitudes; channel width; intrinsic error of the channel width; stability error of the channel width; additional error of the channel width; zero point; intrinsic error of the zero point; stability error of the zero point; additional error of the zero point; effectice range;integral non-linearity;differential non-linearity;dead time;maximum pulse rated to be measured;live time error. This standard is not intended to comply that all the test described herein are mandatory, but only that such tests as are carried out shall be performed in accordance with the procedures given herein.
