scope:
This International Standard specifies methods for measuring the insulation properties of facades under particular acoustical conditions and for determining the protection afforded by the facade to the occupants of the building. The test specimen is located either in an outer wall (for example in the case of a window) or is the outer wall itself for example a whole facade).
