NEN 6433

Water - Determination of antimony content by atomic absorption spectrometry (hydride generation technique) - Destruction with nitric acid and hydrochloric acid

inactive, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 September 1993
Status: inactive
Page Count: 4
ICS Code (Examination of water for chemical substances): 13.060.50
scope:

This standard describes a method for the determination of antimony content by atomic absorption spectrometry. The standard is applicable to solutions from which particles bigger than 0,45 µm are removed. The detection limit depends on the used equipment; in general detection of antimony content from 0,5 µg/l is possible. The standard is applicable to solutions from which particles bigger than 0,45µm are removed. The determination can be influenced by the following elements in the sample: As from 150 µg/l, Sn from 2 mg/l.
