Specifies procedures and requirements for the assessment of conformity to be included in the manufacturer's quality plan as part of his quality system for third-party certification of conformity by a certification body accredited to EN 45011/EN 45012, as applicable, and includes a) requirements for materials, components, joints and assemblies conforming to part 1, 2, 3 and 5 of EN 12319; b) requirements for the manufacturer's quality system conforming to EN ISO 9001 or EN ISO 9002, as applicable. This part is applicable to polybutylene (PB) piping systems intended to be used for hot and cold water installations.
