scope:
This standard covers the constructional and performance requirements, the methods of testing and the marking of manually-operated taps for domestic gas cooking appliances. This standard applies to all taps and to the tap parts of combined controls with several functions, that are intended to be fitted to domestic cooking appliances burning gas of one or more of the three gas families as defined in the European Standard EN 30 'Domestic Cooking Appliances Burning Gas'.
