Publication Date: 1 November 1991
Status: inactive
ICS Code (Protection against electric shock. Live working): 13.260
scope:

This report defines measurement methods for: - d.c. or a.c. of sinusoidal or non-sinusoidal waveform, which could flow through the human body, and - current which can flow through a protective conductor. Measuring methods recommended for touch-current are based upon the possible effects of current flowing through a human body. Specification or implication of specific limit values is not within the scope of this report. Information regarding the choice of limit may be obtained from IEC 479.
