scope:
To give uniform rules for the drafting of specifications for microwave ferrites. For the purpose of this Recommendation the term "microwave ferrites" is understood to include several types of high-resistivity magneto-dielectric material, exhibiting gyromagnetic resonance in the presence of a biasing magnetic field. These include spinel ferrites, hexagonal ferrites and ferrites having the garnet structure.
