inactive
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 1995
Status: inactive
ICS Code (Textile auxiliary materials): 59.040
scope:

This method describes the dip slide procedures, that uses two types of agar to test the presence of commensal bacteria and coliforms (gram negative) ones. It can't be used to test the presence of sulphitoreducing clostrides (gram positive) and salmonella (gram negative). This procedure lends itself ideally to the manufacturer who wishes to conduct quick and relatively simple test to screen for finished filling material hygiene. This method describes the procedures that uses different types of medium to verify the presence of the mesophilic aerobic bacteria count, the fecal streptococci count, sulphite-reducing clostridium, the presence of salmonella. This method, used for both raw and finished materials, gives more complete and specific information on the control of the microbiological state of the filling material.
