This standard gives guidance on and requirements for the coordination of circuit-breakers with other SCPDs associated in the same circuit, as regards discrimination as well as back-up protection. The object of this standard is to state: - the general requirements for the coordination of a circuit-breaker with another SCPD; - the methods and the tests (if deemed necessary) intended to verify that the conditions for coordination have been met.
