It is applicable to foodstuff companies, not for domestic kitchens. This standard identifies the requirements for fixed fire protection systems for local applications including all relevant hygiene and safety characteristics. This standard is not valid for total flooding room protection systems. This standard contains decision making aids, whether a fixed fire protection system shall be installed.
