NEN-EN 50289-1-16

Communication cables - Specifications for test methods - Part 1-16: Electromagnetic performance - Coupling attenuation of cable assemblies (Field conditions)

active, Most Current
Organization: NEN
Publication Date: 1 May 2007
Status: active
Page Count: 21
ICS Code (Coaxial cables. Waveguides): 33.120.10
scope:

This part of EN 50289-1 details the method of in field test to determine the coupling attenuation for installed links and channels used in analogue and digital communication systems. It is to be read in conjunction with EN 50289-1-6 and EN 50289-1-15. This method is used to determine the attenuation of disturbing power to signal power in a cabling system, and vice versa. This determines the influence from cabling on the EMC performance of a system.
