scope:

This standard gives definitions, classifications, requirements and rules for the production and the inspection of concrete depending on: the application; the available materials; the manner of construction. The standard applies to concrete intended for the manufacture of (non-)reinforced concrete constructions and elements, irrespective of whether manufacture and/or processing of the concrete is at the building site, in specially designed concrete mortar plants or in concrete products and/or concrete elements plants. The standard does not apply to concrete for the manufacture of concrete products and/or concrete elements for which product specifications exist, unless these product specifications state that NEN 5950 (VBU 1986) applies in part or in full.
