scope:

Applies to fully assembled power operated doors, as defined in ENxxx. Does not consider noise generated by doors when operated manually. Describes a laboratory test method for measurement of airborn noise levels. The laboratory method is applicable for type testing of power operated doors (with respect to airborne noise levels only). Structure-borne noise is not presently covered by this standard, but the effects of this, on the noise level in the doors neighbouring areas, must be considered when designing and installing doors.
