Specifies requirements for check valves in thermoplastic materials for use in industrial piping systems, irrespective of the field of application or fluid to be conveyed. Is applicable to hand or power operated check valves up to DN 600 and PN 16. It specifies requirements for check valves and their connection to the piping system, the standardized DN and the allowable pressure together with the derating factors for operation at temperatures in the range 40°C to 140°C.
