Specifies a method for the determination of thermal diffusivity of advanced monolithic technical ceramics, to an accuracy of approximately ± 5 %. It is suitable for the measurement ofthermal diffusivity values in the range 0,1 mm²/s to 1000 mm²/s at temperatures greater than -180 °C.
