This standard sets forth suggested procedures by which certain performance characteristics associated with voltage-stabilized or current-stabilized power supplies can be mesured. The methods outlined are not the only way of conducting each measurement, but represent a reliable means of obtaining data against which other test procedures may be judged. An attempt has been made to minimize the need for specialized equipment, and no specific instruments are recommended.
