This standard describes methods of measuring the properties used to specify polycrystalline microwave ferrites in accordance with IEC Publication 392: Guide for the Drafting of Specifications for Microwave Ferrites, and for general use in ferrite technology. These measuring methods are intended for the investigation of materials, generally referred to a ferrites, for application at microwave frequencies. This standard should be read in conjunction with IEC Publication 392.
