The measurement methods described (measurements on PCM channel code, of I.F. sub-system characteristics, of bit-error ratio, of cycle-skipping performance) are applicable to SCPC-PSK equipment used in international satellite systems. Most of the methods will also be applicable to systems used in domestic or regional satellite systems.
