This European standard specifies: 1) the information to be provided by the manufacturer on the production process, the chemical composition and the physical characteristics; 2) the stability and sensitiveness type-tests and requirements of propellant powders intended for use in commercial ammunition in order to insure their safe storage and handling and their safe use in this type of ammunition.
