Applies to hand-held electric motor operated or magnetically driven tools, intended for indoor or outdoor use. Hand-held electric motor-operated tools, hereinafter referred to as tools, which can be mounted on a support for use as fixed tools without any alteration of the tool itself, are within the scope of this standard. Additional requirements for such support mau be necessary. This standard applies to tools having any rated frequency.
