Under the authority delegated by the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), the Chief, Bureau Of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), manages and operates medical and dental VI production facilities, biomedical photography laboratories; medical and dental VI libraries; scientific illustrations, graphic arts, and other medical and dental VI documentation functions.
Purpose.
To provide guidelines and delineate responsibility for the management and operation of medical and dental VI activities, functions, and resources.
