Purpose
The purpose of this document is to help users to ensure that enhanced records and information management functionality is embedded in all IT solutions (including business applications) as part of the design, development and implementation process.
Note: Information and records management (IRM) needs to be a core part of business and operational capability within both the private and public sectors, and TfL needs its IT systems and applications to deliver this objective.
